February Workshops at Home Depot and Lowe's

Home Depot is offering its kids workshop on February 4th from 9-12. This month they will be making a valentine card holder.

 

• FREE hands-on workshops designed for children ages 5 - 12 offered the 1st Saturday of
every month at all The Home Depot stores between 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• Workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills, tool safety and instill a sense of pride
and accomplishment.
• All kids get to keep their craft and receive a FREE Kids Workshop Apron, commemorative
pin and certificate of achievement.

 

 

Lowe's Build and Grow Workshop will be held on February 9th from 10-11 am.  Registration is required.  This month's project is a Wheel of Love.

Auburn Stride Walkers are meeting at 9 am on Wednesday at the Charlotte and Curtis Bike Path (across from Chewacla) for a morning walk with friends. 

After working up an appetite, take the kids out for a free meal.  Niffers offers Free Kids Meals on Wednesday.  McAlister's offers Free Kids Meals from 4 pm-9 pm.

Auburn University Ecology Preserve offers a Winter Discovery Walk for children ages 5-12.  The walk is from 3:30-4:30 on Tuesdays.  After working up an appetite, take advantage of Kids Eat Free day at both Huddle House and  Brick Oven.
